Telford-based high-speed door manufacturer Efaflex UK Limited is ‘bucking the Brexit trend’, according to a spokesperson.

The business is not only growing in revenue, but also expanding its support team, investing in product development and paying to attend three trade shows in the area. Known for their precision engineering, Efaflex are no strangers to product innovation.

“25 years ago the company designed a spiral high-speed door which remains the fastest vertically opening door in the world,” the spokesperson said. “With speeds up to four meters per second, it makes it an ideal solution for many purposes including warehouses, loading bays, and logistics applications, ensuring that exposure to the elements is minimised. An Efaflex high-speed door can significantly reduce energy costs by as much as 50%.”

With a 40+ year history, the company prides itself on aiming to have a solution for virtually every application and budget including spiral, folding and roll- up options.

Natasha Hickmans recently joined as business development manager for the Midlands and said: “It’s so refreshing to work in an organisation that is investing in the future. The precision engineering gives me confidence that I’m repesenting high-speed doors that are built to last, bespoke to specific applications and offer the client real value for money.”

Darren Turrell, managing director for the UK, added: “Our business sits in the heart of the Midlands. Our doors are ideal for so many industries including automotive, manufacturing, food processing and cleanrooms. We are delighted to be attending three trade shows so that visitors can really appreciate the speed of our doors.”

Efaflex will be at the IMHX show (NEC), Made in the Midlands (Ricoh Arena) and the Cleanroom Technology Conference (Motorcycle Museum).
